So... I'm going to be a Mommy

If someone told me the same time last year that today I'll be writing about being a mom and that I'll be in the third trimester of pregnancy this time I'd laugh my ass off. Around this time last year I was too busy studying for my Oral Exams for my Diplomate boards in Surgery, and all it matters is I pass that exam, now, I'm staring at a box of baby clothes (that I already hand washed thank you very much)  and contemplating on how to set up the playard that I bought a couple of months back, oh and I just got home from a really awesome and fantabulous baby shower. The universe really is funny. 

Well, since this is my first blog post, I'd like not to bore you and would just like to welcome you to Mommy Stellar. This blog will be mostly about my adventures as a new mom, probably some product reviews and a lot more things that I would like to write about (I'll try to skip the dramas of life). 

Oh, and about me, I am a 32-year- old first time mom-to-be, currently in the third trimester of pregnancy, a General Surgeon by profession, a writer, a dreamer, and I used to call myself a wonder girl.

Now let's see if this wonder girl can wonder mom her way in raising a baby boy.
